  BC Elastivator is a highly reactive, low boiling and fast evaporating solvent that has has exceptional solvency power to soften many synthetic elastomers and coatings. BC Elastivator is a pure liquid and doesn't contain any added fillers or solids

  Key applications:

  Activating the exposed surfaces of cured and hardened elastomers like polyurea water proofing materials, coatings and sealants for subsequent over coating

  Removal of thermoplastic based membranes and sealers from floor surfaces and Cleaning of equipment and tools before the hardening of coatings and elastomers Viscosity reducer of coatings compatible with ketone based solvents

  Application Instructions:

  Use grinder at lower rpm to cut out the area to be recoated.

  Grind down the coating around the edges of the prepare area at a maximum angle of 30 Degrees creating tapered and beveled edge around the repair area

  Clean the coating and wipe it by BC Elastivator in order to reactivate the over coat windows

  The treated coating surfaces must be completely clean and free from any chemical product or contamination

  In the case of polyurea over coating apply one coat of BC Primer 349 to clean the substrate and to the tapered area of the coating. When the primer become tack free, the surface can be recoated polyurethane top cot
