BC Epoxy 4500 S

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:-

._BC Epoxy 4500 S is 100% solids, flake-filled, premium epoxy coating designed for internal steel and concrete tanks and pipe lining. Suitable for sheet piling, H and pipe pilings in marine immersion and splash zones.

APPLICATION METHOD:

This product can be applied by single component airless spray to get a dry film thickness of 500 to l 000µ depending on end service requirements.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS:

The temperature of the substrate should be minimum l 0 °C and at least 3 °C

above the dew point of the air, measured in the vicinity of the substrate. Good ventilation is usually required in confined areas to ensure proper drying. The moisture content in the substrate should not exceed 4% (by weight). The coating should not be exposed to oil, chemicalsor mechanical stress until fully cured.

This product should not be applied on to the surfaces which are known to, or likely to suffer from, rising dampness, potential osmosis problems or have a relative humidity greater than 80% as measured in accordance with BS 8203 Appendix
