BC Epoxy SL Screed provides an extremely durable, high strength, chemical, impact and abrasion resistant floor.

BC Epoxy SL Screed is ideally suitable for use in heavy engineering plants, process areas, oil refineries, workshops and other industrial plants, where a floor topping up to 15 mm thick is required

Surface preparation:

A good floor topping is only as good as the

preparation. It is essential that BC Epoxy SL Screed is applied to sound, clean and drysurfaces in order that maximum bond strength is achieved between the substrate and the flooring system.

Laying:

mm thick in one application whilst the primer is still 15 to 5 BC Epoxy SL Screed is laid tacky. Only prime an area which can be overlaid with BC Epoxy SL Screed before the primer dries. Primed areas which, due to unforeseen circumstances, have been allowed to dry should be re- primed

The mixed BC Epoxy SL Screed is raked to the required thickness and tamped with a wooden float, or levelled with a screeding bar, to ensure full compaction. To provide as close a textured finish as possible, finish off the process using a steel trowel regularly
